These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of mbue, an AI-assisted study platform at mbue.in ("the Service", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
mbue is intended for students, parents, and educators using it to support learning. If you're under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should use the Service with the involvement of a parent or guardian. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide when creating an account.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Let us know immediately at

Many features of mbue (generating study material, evaluating answers, document processing, and similar AI-powered actions) consume credits from your account balance. Credits can be purchased through Razorpay at the rate displayed in the app at the time of purchase. The USD/credit conversion rate may be adjusted by us from time to time going forward — any such change only applies to future purchases and usage, never retroactively to credits you've already bought or spent. You agree not to:
- Use the Service for anything unlawful, or to upload content you don't have the right to share.
- Attempt to circumvent credit charges, rate limits, or other technical protections of the Service.
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service outside of the interfaces we provide.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
mbue uses third-party AI models to generate study material, explanations, quizzes, and feedback. While we work to make this content accurate and useful, AI-generated content can occasionally be incomplete or incorrect. mbue is a study aid, not a substitute for your own judgment, textbooks, or a teacher's guidance — especially before an exam.
You retain ownership of the documents and content you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process it (including via third-party AI providers) solely to provide the Service to you. You confirm you have the right to upload and share the content you submit.
We aim to keep mbue available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, upgrades, or reasons outside our control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, mbue is provided "as is," and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on AI-generated content for academic outcomes.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we'll make a reasonable effort to notify you directly.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
